Virtual Pentathlon

HERTS SCHOOL GAMES GOES VIRTUAL!

The Annual Hertfordshire School Games finals has had to be cancelled due to the current situation but the SGO’s have been working hard to bring to you the ‘Virtual’ Hertfordshire School Games instead . This is an exciting programme of sport competition running throughout the remainder of the summer term, giving children the chance to represent their school team, alongside their friends and family, to be crowned Hertfordshire champions.

We are starting with our opening ceremony video https://youtu.be/BaaddveYitE  to launch the games and our first event the pentathlon. The event will be open for schools and its pupils to take part in until FRIDAY 19^TH JUNE. It is open to all pupils in Year 3-9

Primary

Pupils can complete the activities either at home or school, record their scores and send them back to the PE lead/Apprentice. From here you simply work out the Top 4 scores from those in Year 3/4 and Top 4 from those in Year 5/6 to make your schools ‘Team’ of 8. For Secondary schools work out the top 4 from  This can then be submitted using the attached form to us at SSFT. All results will need to be submitted to SSFT@stevenagesportingfutures.co.uk. We will be posting the challenge on our Facebook and Twitter page, so please feel free to share this on your school’s social media account! We will then work these out to find our overall Stevenage winner and they will then go on to a virtual ‘County Final’ to find the overall winning school

Secondar

We will be posting the challenge on our Facebook and Twitter page, so please feel free to share this on your school’s social media account! We will then work these out to find our overall Stevenage winner and they will then go on to a virtual ‘County Final’ to find the overall winning school
