The Herts School Games competition format allows 1 team of 8 (4 Boys and 4 Girls) per District. So over the 4 Sessions (Heats) that we are running, we will find the fastest team to represent Stevenage at The Herts School Games in March.
Each child will be timed individually on 3,3,3 and 3,6,3 cycles. This will determine the 4 fastest Girls and the 4 Fastest Boys for each school. These 8 children will therefore make up your School’s Speed Stacking Team.
These teams of 8 children will then compete in a timed 3,6,3 relay against the other teams of 8. They will have 2 attempts as a team, and the Best time will count. We will compare all the team’s scores and have a winning School from each heat.
The 4 Heat Winners (1 each from Wednesday a.m. Wednesday p.m. Thursday a.m. and Thursday p.m.) will receive a framed certificate. Out of the 4 Heat winners, we will determine the fastest team Overall who will receive the Speed Stacking Trophy and they will be our Stevenage representatives for the Herts School Games.
From each Heat, the Fastest Boy and The Fastest Girl will receive a Gold medal.
Time depending, we will also have some fun team relays for everyone.
