Stevenage Sporting Futures - Sports Awards 2019-2020

🏆SSFT Sports Awards 2019/2020 🏆

On Tuesday 14th July Stevenage Sporting Futures Team (sponsored by IWL Contractors Ltd) held its 4th Annual Sports Awards. With COVID-19 putting pay to our usual audience attending, we were keen to ensure the event could still happen and offer some positivity at a time where this has been lacking. This year’s sports awards were held virtually with winners filmed accepting their awards at Stevenage Museum and the link going live on the 14th at the time the event should have been held.

The video was hosted by Jamie Drackford and winners were included in the film giving their views on the sporting accomplishments that were achieved throughout the academic year. Stevenage Sporting Futures Team continued to be amazed with the achievements of our partner primary schools and secondary schools.

This year Stevenage Sporting Futures Team received 52 nominations. There were 18 awards in total with trophies, shields and certificates being handed out to 18 winners and 26 highly commended awardees.
